Knowing Is Better Than Always Wondering... 07/23/2010
Have you ever thought about the decisions that have gotten you where you are today? Would you change them? Every decision you've made up until now, even in middle school, has lead your life in a specific direction. If you were to change anything, no matter how small, your life would change dramatically. Your decisions are like ripples in water. To change things... you'd be risking every memory since that regretted moment. We're meant to learn from our mistakes. Don't regret what you cannot change. If you regret what you can change, take the chance... knowing you tried is better than always wondering. And if you - by chance - stumple upon a time machine, think about the ripples you'll cause before jumping in. That time machine may be your worst regret yet. A.E.C. CommentsLucas 07/24/2010 00:04
Your message is beautifully simple and absolutely correct. It IS better to know than to spend your life wondering. I know this from experience. All too often I find myself wondering and there is really no reason besides fear. Fear of rejection or humiliation mostly. However, recently I have discovered that it's worth it to take the risk. It is worth it because of that one time when you ask that cute girl you barely know out on a date and she says yes. Before you know it you're having all kinds of fun together and at the very least you have made a friend for life :) Now where would we be if I didn't ask that simple question? I would be wondering what if and she wouldn't have a clue. This is my testimony to your idea that Knowing is Better than Always Wondering!
